MIG is a multi-dimensional commercial real estate development and private investment company. It builds new, renovates existing and then leases class A office buildings for business and commercial tenants. Further, MIG provides management experience in concert with private equity investment in select organizations that share our corporate culture and financial objectives. MIG also offers real estate brokerage, consultation and referral services.

With over 1,000,000 square feet of commercial office, retail and warehouse space under ownership and management, our commercial property division is our most visible asset. We provide build – to – suit office and retail development, re-design and renovation, commercial brokerage, and leasing services to our clients.
With a spirit of teamwork and pride, our employees currently provide comfortable working and meeting space to more than 40 Fortune 500, regional and Madison-based businesses and their clients within our facilities.
Because MIG provides top-notch customer care, only a small percentage of our lease space is typically vacant – always well below national, regional and City of Madison averages. Businesses with relocation and/or growth needs are encouraged to contact us, since we always have expansion and flex plans ready to implement to create more rentable space.
Our independently owned and managed commercial property holdings are concentrated in three areas:
- The MIG Central Beltline Campus (or “CBC”) off of Todd Drive, comprised of buildings such as the incredible new Retail Shops and Offices at Arbor Gate, the Sergenian’s, Inacom and M3 Insurance office facilities.
- Parmenter Street, in the newly renovated areas surrounding the Donna Drive intersection (The FCI Building, Cornerstone Mall and the new project at the former Colonial Motel site)
- 3099 East Washington Avenue, at the Hwy 30 / Hwy 151 Interchange, with nearly 15 acres of commercial development on the east side of Madison anchored by the State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections Administrative Offices.
In addition to a customized office and a convenient location, many Tenants at the MIG CBC enjoy the panoramic view of the Capitol, the UW Arboretum and Lake Monona. In Middleton, our properties adjoin the Middleton Conservancy and bike paths linking our communities and greater Madison.

MIG REDEVELOPMENT
MIG is proud of its successful history coordinating real estate redevelopment in any number of locales in and around Greater Madison. MIG continues to partner with different municipalities’ development representatives and with business neighbors to rebuild at-risk areas of our community through various initiatives.
The Baxter Family (Kayser Automotive) and Westwind Properties, MIG and the City of Madison are the forces behind the incredible Arbor Gate initiative on the Central Beltline Highway. Read more about Arbor Gate here.
The City of Middleton, MIG and Food Concepts Real Estate are working together to restore pride and commercial success to the Parmenter “Main Street” corridor through successive projects including the FCI Building, the new Middleton Public Safety Building, Cornerstone Mall, and the forthcoming Colonial Motel site redevelopment.
This critical relationship and coordination with our government units on commercial urban infill, neighborhood redevelopment, improvements to the public transit infrastructure and mutual environmental concerns insure that our tenants and families enjoy a safe, comfortable and pleasant living and working environment throughout our community.
