Foundation

The Mortenson Family Foundation and MIG, combined, charitably disburse between $250,000 and $400,000 annually back into the Greater Madison community to assist with shortfalls in such areas as educational & social service programs. MIG also gives back to the community directly with sponsorships, financial support, and through hands-on service, evidenced by our employees’ personal commitment to (among other causes) the Second Harvest Food Drive and the Dane County United Way Days of Caring.

MIG owns a diverse portfolio of real estate, including warehouse, retail and Class A office space, and we continue to develop. Our real estate investments are found throughout Greater Madison, from East Washington Avenue through the Capitol Square, down the Central Beltline Highway and down Parmenter Street in Middleton, Wisconsin.

We own and assist in management oversight of numerous private entities, and we give back to the community through MIG and our charitable Foundation at a level that leads by example, and has earned national recognition and widespread accolade.
