Senior Accountant
Heather joined MIG, LLC in 2021 as the Senior Accountant, overseeing all accounting functions and financial management for MIG and its associated real estate and ownership entities. Her responsibilities encompass trend analysis, budget preparation, lease agreement financial management, and benefits administration. Heather collaborates closely with the Vice President of Finance on special projects and financial report preparation.
She led initiatives to modernize operations, orchestrating the transition to a paperless environment and introducing streamlined workflows that significantly enhanced internal efficiency. By implementing automated record-keeping tools and other innovations, she played a pivotal role in aligning our company with contemporary standards and best practices..
Heather serves as the primary liaison for MIG’s partnership with the United Way of Dane County, demonstrating her commitment to community engagement and corporate social responsibility. Additionally, she collaborates with Tara on organizing the annual Charity Golf Classic for the MIG Legacy Foundation.
Heather earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rasmussen College in Rockford, IL. Prior to joining MIG, she held accounting roles in both non-profit and commercial real estate sectors, leveraging her expertise to drive financial excellence in other Madison-based companies.
Heather loves sit-coms, crafting, traveling, and pickleball. Heather is a self-described cat enthusiast.
